For the last one or two years i had been looking for a new sport, something different to play, something that needed a slightly different set of skills than your average football, basketball or dodgeball. I even thought of maybe having a crack at...

ABOUT LEET

LEET is a fast paced team sport in which two teams of four active players each try to score points against one another by shooting the ball at a target located 15 feet high under organized rules. Players use a LEET stick to shoot, pass and catch a LEET ball keeping it in constant play and scoring points. The team with more points at the end of the game wins. LEET is explicitly designed to demand the best of one’s speed, agility and determination. By combining classic sports elements with new technology and short game period rallies, LEET is a true sport of the 21st Century. It’s future is ready to be written! Welcome to the next generation in sports!

LEET Distance Throw World Record

The rain took a day off as the sun beamed on the first LEET Hermosa Beach Distance Throw Open this past Saturday. The World Record winner was none other than New Jersey born Kevin Curran who just recently made the move to Cali. The WR holder, Curran, threw a 239 ft and 2inch launch just shy of hitting the crashing waves. Obviously, this record is also the new US Record.

Tracy Sabol set the record for the first women’s WR resulting in a throw of 106ft and 8 inches. Not only are State and City records held, but there are also now National Records made representing Finland and Mexico.
Only time will tell as to how long the US will hold the WR, considering the best European throwers were unable to attend the competition.

Plans are already in the making due to growing public demand to bring the LEET Distance Throw Open to Helsinki, Finland in the coming months. Watch out U.S., the Finns just might take your title!

You can watch the WR holder's thoughts on the video "World Record"!

Defensive play pays off

I spoke with a special friend of mine. He wanted to tell me about the importance of defensive play in basketball, in LEET and in life. The first part of me said, "defense is boring, why is he pitching this to me?" I've played offensive for most of my work life, especially with the LEET project. I always thought you win by concentrating on scoring more points. You can believe than when working with a huge undertaking such as creating a sport and getting it out there, it's been offensive from the… Continue

Ramp builder candidate no.1; Skate pioneer in OC

Our plan is to build the first LEET arena asap here in SoCal. We want to create a designated park around the game we've learned to love so much. Our initial plan was to build an arena transportable and transparent (yes, made out of glass!), but to make it more cost efficient and less risky, I started to contact the guys who've built the coolest and biggest extreme sports ramps, pipes and rails for the last two decades. Yesterday i met one of these guys, who turned out to be a legend and true pio… Continue
